At the end of 2006, we started to equip our vehicles with state of the art equipment. Meanwhile, all of our trucks have a GPS and navigation system on their disposal that help us to improve fleet management and control by locating and guiding our trucks in a more efficient way. Additionally, the new navigation systems allow two-way communication between office and driving staff.This improves and facilitates freight planning and our drivers do not longer need to look for the correct addresses but the navigation system guide them directly to their destinations. This is a big advantage, not only to us, but also to our customers. Now we are able to react faster, even in the last minute, to customer requests. To our customers, this means safety and the awareness that they can rely on a professional high-performing company, whose service has been considerably improved.In 2007 we decided to carry out our maintenance and repairs ourselves.
Garage
Our highly motivated employees well trained in mechanics, electronics, bodywork and painting have agreed to work on Saturdays also and are willing to take the help of the drivers, whose semi-trailers are being maintained. This cooperation promotes the quality of our garage and the driver can be sure to have a faultlessly maintained semi-trailer on his towing vehicle.All in all, by using these measures in contrast to the past, we achieved the following advantages:

- our semi-trailers are ready for use more quickly
Hubert Karsten| Fleet manager
In January 2008, Mr. Hubert Karsten joined the ari team. He is now our “fleet man”. Being automotive master technician (mechanic), he does regular inspection and maintenance as well as necessary repairs. When it is about truck and trailers, he is the linchpin.
Warehouse
On 4500 sqm we offer a full warehousing and distribution service from our premises in Düren to all european destinations requested by our customers.

Wolfgang Beck | Warehouse manager
Mr. Beck is our warehouse manager. He supervises the warehouse staff and plans and oversees the safe loading and unloading of the trailers. He also oversees and does himself picking and packing.
Being a reliable member of our staff, Mr. Beck also helps our shipping staff to plan and oversee distribution activity.
